View Full Version : Installed my EBAY lip spoler, what do you think?

I like the look, very subtle but makes a difference. It is off by about 2mm on the right side too far which you cannot notice with the naked eye. I spent about 20 miniutes installing it, leaning on each section and gradually stripping the covering tape for the 3M tape for every ~6 inches as I did it.

I like it. Very subtle, but matches the rest of the car well. On a GLS it wouldn't look so good.

My car is a GLS, I just have the black side accent's like a GT :)

Not knowing, your statement is pretty much a compliment :)

looking good. I don't know how nice it would look on the sedan though...

Have you thought about painting it?

I mispoke, ha. I meant, it looks good on GTs or GLS Hatcbacks, the Elantras that already have the black molding.

Painting it? No, I like the black side molding on the car, along with the black borders of the doors. The lip spoiler just adds an accent to them, plus it is flexible rubber which I doubt I could reliably paiint and I doubt it would look better, it would probably look worse.

I have the same one, i've had it on for about 6 months or so, i like it... looks go on urs too!

it appears that I'm the only one that doesn't particularly like it. It's not bad, but not for me. Good job by the way.

i dont like it much either...sorry...i am against james, i think it would look much better on a sedan, and painted body color. glad you like it though

i think its decent, and i cant tell that its off from the pic, prolly one of those things that only you will really notice heh - ihave a handfull of things about my car that i nitpick.. but no one else seems to notice :tongue:
