Got a blue kit today for $30! Ollies bargain outlet kicks ***!
I never really intended to get a neon kit, but for that price I couldn't say no.
If anyone else wants a set, they're $30 plus whatever It would cost for me to ship it to you.
they had red, blue, white and yellow while I was there.

How many pieces is the kit? Not that I want one, just curious.
Where do you intend to mount them?
The Ollies out this way sold out of those in no-time. The kit is 4 tubes (I forget the mesurements) and are for under the car.
BUT IM GOING TO WARN YOU, I don't mean to slight you, but IMO, that neon kit is CRAP. I've seen two kits put on a car, my friends golf and then we did my friends civic. On the golf, half the tubes don't work, and he had to straighten the pins that connect the tubes.
On the civic, I belive they are still working (haven't seen the kid in a month or so)
Is this the Redline neon kit, or the LED?

Redline Neon. If they suck that much maybe I'll mount them on my bar or around my kitchen instead.
the kit is a pair of 48 inch and a pair of 36 inch neon tubes, and some assorted hardware. I was originally thinking under my car, but if they suck as much as OPZ says, perhaps installing them in my kitchen (along with a white neon kit if there are any left over there) would make for a pretty cool PSU motif, along with the bar I'm repainting and redoing.

nah. just put them on your car and see for yourself if they are any good.
Yea, Im not sure about the neon, but the kits we had problems with were the LEDS.
The 12-pin connecters, make sure that the they all click into each other, if not, you have to bend some of the prongs with a small screwdriver or something to make it fit.
But hey, for $30, that would be a kick *** PSU table!

For $30, I wouldn't mind the "some assembly required" step.
i wouldnt entirely knock em.. heh i have Pyle blue neons. everything worked out of the box even came with a nice silver switch and everything. Plenty of wireing and 4 tubes. I think the kit was like 45 online. i want to say i got them at millionbuy last christmas. I never installed them until about a 3 weeks ago. So far they have been excellent. I have scraped the tow hooks a few times and done 2 300-400 mile trips. i also went down a dirt road for the first time in my elantra and it was harsh.. and they are still holding up just fine!
sides are screwed directly into the floor of the car.. they are not going ANYWHERE. Front has one screw into the bumper and the other ends are just zip tied up because there was nothing to screw into. The rear is up in the bumper and there wasnt **** to screw into.. so its completely wire tied up. Course im talking about the thick meaty black wire ties that are made for running 0g wire under a car. So they are decent ties 2..
coolest thing is that the front hits the ac radiator and reflects up into the lower part of the grill. makes me think about just mounting a whole tube up there to completel the look heh
I went into Ollies the other day and saw the tubes. Well the box itself looks better then the LED kits, so maybe thier not as crappy as I thought.
But idk, I always felt my streetglow gold series were the brightest of all the neons out of my group of friends. But then I did have longeer tubes, the bigger transformer, ect.
But thats just me! :D
