EXD Announces vBGarage!

As requested. At first I thought it might be too much since we already have the Gallery and the Member's Profiles section, but I thought this puts everything in the same spot and since some people thought it would be cool here it is.

It's not open to everyone yet. Once I get some other stuff done I'll open it up and there will be a link in the Navbar as well.

For those that don't have it set up like Felix or I... you are missing the point. Make it right or die. Well, not really, but if you could it would be really cool.

Also, I think we'll change the COTM entry rules to include simply linking to your vBGarage, but I'll need to talk it over with Robert.

Again, go into the User CP and click vBGarage and you should be able to figure it out from there.

I'll get it in the Navbar shortly so it's easier to find.

I got something up, not much, but its a start.. see now i have to maintain it and update it. if i didnt make it now, i woulda precrastinated for god knows how long haha

also i LOVE the vb code and the links on how to use it, thats so cool that you have that all listed out, cuz i never used it before and it was super helpful. Awesome!

When you click on someones name you should have that link to their garage along with the other stuff also.. i dont know much about site setup and that sounds like it might take some work, but if it was something trivial it would be a cool adition. just tossin that out there :D

I'm working on modifying it to include the Color of the car. I'm about half way there and have to get to bed. Hopefully I can figure it out tomorrow. Right now typing something in the Color box does nothing.

Well, I've got it added to the Navbar now (as well as the generic FAQ in which I'll add the "EXD Guidelines" to).

Is the Navbar getting crowded? With my resolution and how I like to keep the window size it's no problem. I even made the window less wide and although the links get closer it's still OK looking to me.

is there anyway to get my mods list to sit at the top of the screen, not centre itself vertically on the page?

bar looks good and i only browes with 3/4 of the monitor, i keep the browser windowed so i can work around it and its definitly 3/4 or less of my screen res and the site looks just fine. Yeah i know, i have dual screens but i still need both at all times haha.

I haven't had any time to go back to take a look at what is going with the Color option not working. It's not an HTML thing, it's all vBulletin Template and Phrase based. I'm just missing something somewhere. I'll get it figured out when I get a chance.
