Hey all, just thought I'd introduce myself. Just bought an '04 Elantra GT hatchback in Tidal Wave (love that color!) in June. I have been nothing but satisfied with it - great car, great performance, wonderful interior. Big improvement from my '02 Neon SXT that was traded in.

No major mods planned yet, except some tinting of the windows. I try and keep it fairly low key while I'm still making payments, so maybe a little down the line.

It's good to know there's a place to come for info though. :D

Another tidal wave blue? :)....welcome to the site!

Couldn't turn it down - best looking color on the lot. I thought they looked gorgeous in black, but the Neon was black and keeping it clean and shiny was so difficult.

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to the site, you'll love it here. And if you can restrain yourself from modding after seeing Ilan's car then you must be a strong willed person. Good luck.

Actually, it's not really a question of "wanting" to mod the car, more like "not having any money" to mod the car. I do what I can to add the personal touches and if I could do more at this point, I would jump all over it. But rent's gotta get paid first and keeping the bank from taking the car comes next.

But I'm new to the Hyundai scene so I'll see what I can find and gradually work my way I up. I do like Ilan's car ... and I've already seen the angel eyes headlights installed and like the way they look.

I'll work my way into the addiction ... ;)

Start looking through the interior section, you'll get plenty of ideas. Also, look through the DIY section (link in the navbar). Welcome to the site.

welcome to the site, black is a ***** to keep clean especially in minnesota where the DOT feels the need to salt the road even when the roads are dry

Welcome!! Hope you enjoy the site.
Would like to see pics if you have any.

I am also on the slow end of modding. I have done a couple of things but now I am cut off until I get some bills paid off.
