The intercooler piping was designed for a tiburon, you may have to shorten some pipes.

Installed it, though no decomp. plate as of now, boosting a solid 11 psi on stock internals = AWESOME

also i went the custom intercooler route.

it sucks. lol

Though I will be filling my motor mounts next weekend for sure, which will help with whell hop.

I am saving up for an LSD insert next year, it doesnt cost much, but for once I will be getting it done by someone (opening up the differential isnt something I want to do myself). I mean I can change a clutch, but I am NOT opening up the transmission. Perhaps will get some cryo done on some parts at the same time aswell :D

Sweet, yeah I changed my clutch as well but I am not a tranny guy, great I cant wait to have everything running, did you install yourself? If so how long did it take you?

Yep, did it with a couple of buddies, they all are on here (destroyers, obi_one, and Freddy Krueger), it took us a weekend, maybe 20 hours in total, including running around the friggin town looking for a tap big enough for the oil return line fitting in the pan. I would say that tapping the pan was the biggest *****, as it is aluminium and you do NOT screw with aluminium while taping it, it's UNFORGIVABLE.

speaking of the pan, want to know a trick? Put a nut on the inside to hold everything in place. UNLESS you want to tap the block.. anywho.... let me know :)

I was actually thinking of tapping the block, how many lines did you run for oil?

funny how if you searched you'd have found plenty of people with the alpine kit but in any case good luck with your install!! :)

Also you have coolant lines that T off the rac hoses, keep that in mind. I haven't had the time to install those yet, doing it next weekend aswell if everything goes well.

This is not correct anymore. Kits for Elantras now have Elantra specific piping. Also for anyone that has Entry Level Kits the complete Intercooler upgrade is also now available for the Elantra.

I tapped the block for mine. though, when the bit went through, it hit the con rod. fortunately, the area where it hit didnt weaken the integrity of the rod. tapping the block makes for a good solid connection. flip a coin to decide =P. my install was a pain, but if what I have heard from DMdicks and john is true (downpipe jigs being fixed, as well as the faulty serial port) you should be fine. Other than that, my wastegate actuator was hitting the sensors mounted to the block. I welded up a new bracket for the actuator and got a solid 7PSI.
