While surfing the web I found this site. I have been thinking about tinting my taillinghts for some time. This spray looks good and seems easier to remove than night shade if it needs to be redone. I am wondering however, if this reduces light output much, though (The site does not say). I don't want to be the idiot with dim tails who gets rearended either.

In my experience it's best to stick to something known and trusted (unless you want to be the test subject to see if something new is good). Although this company is the same that I got my fogs from, and they're fairly decent...get comments on them all the time (when the EL Angeleye mode is on). So the company itself seems to do decent in quality, not sure how much it translates over to this arena though.

from what I've seen with nightshades, you wil still be able to see light output, however the intensity of it will depend on how many coats of the tinting you use
