Projector Headlight conversion whats yours look like

Was looking to see how many had done this and some close up pics of your headlamps and or beam / cutoff

Was wondering where anyone got there projectors they used? Junkyard?

also how big are the projectors you guys used? I saw these online how do i find out if they would even fit?

i wouldnt bid on the first 2 pair...not saying anything is wrong with them but it doest tell you if these projectors were used in conjunction with a d2s bulb or just a normal 55 hella crappy regular bulb...the halogen projector usuallly are alot bigger in size than hid....hope this helps.

the audi projectors will work though....and might even be the euro dot ones which have a crazy nice cut of flicker...if your going for that. the american projectors dont have it as much but if you want super white light and your lights to looks purple then thats the way to go. Oh yea if you really wanna finish the look...get the headlight shroud...i think its called and cutt that to fit inside of the headlight. I may be a set of projectors this month to retro some into a pair of old light that i dont have the oem glare sheilds. If i do ill post the pics of everything

thanks, yeah i like the ones that give a real nice cut-off line really looks sharp. That would be great if you retro fit some, id love to see the pics

i've got an HID conversion, but it is in my del sol...the lighs in the elantra DO look easier to mount the projectors into without too many aiming issues...but it is a beneficial conversion if done right!!

someone did this mod already (can't remember who). Basically you have to dremel a larger hole in the headlight. Use a shroud as txd said to hold the audi projector onto the elantra headlight. It looks stock once you are finished.

sammy (sammy21c I think?) and DJ Hellfire have projector retrofits on their XD. Sammy hasn't posted on the board since he moved back to Korea, but DJ Hellfire could probably give you some tips.

Its a molding thats goes around the project to give a nice finshed oem look

i would take caution if you were thinking of buying these as i saw a halogen bulb between the two projectors...you never know with ebay...maybe he left it there just to show the difference in bulb size idk but id ask him about that
