Angel Eyes rings...

I asked Sharkracing if I could just get the rings off their 01-03 Elantra headlights.
they said the V3 rings (I believe these are the ones for 03-04 Tiburon, the blue one) are $120 shipped and are available saperately.
the things is, are headlight "holes" from 01-03 models same sized as 04-06 Elantras? anyone measured this before?
I asked about this to them too, but I doubt they know about the sizes...

just off the top of my head.....
i'm pretty sure the 01-03 are a little bigger, and not quite round...i know the 04-06 are almost totally round, but i seem to remember the 01-03 having bigger flat spots on the top and bottom...

just for reference i saw a car with angel eyes today, it was the first one ive seen on the road, ever.. no idea what it was cause it buzzed by so quick, but it was def something like a newer bmw or volvo or something..

anyway the rings were perfectly round and looked really awesome. you could tell it was a real part and not just el wire or something, almost had the glow if an actual bulb, but it was too perfect all the way around to be a bulb.. the rings were perfect circles and i think that made it look even better, also it was morning and the sun coming up and i could still see the rings a fair bit (i was up and out @ 6 today :tongue:)

if i was going to do it, i would prolly go with a kit, i think they look slightly better.. maybe not a ton better and that is a hefty price.. but im just sayin that i think theres a diff thats all
