I have the K&N Accord intake, and I couldn't be happier. It is a 2.5 in. so there is no cutting of the body involved.
As for springs, people like the Eibach, and H&R's a whole lot. I have the H&R's and love them.

I have a accord 94-97 4cyl bomz CAI. Install was a bit tight, but none the less amazing. The added noise from 3.5K till redline is just music to the ears. Performance gains are that much. You should be able to find some for sale on ebay for around 50bucks shipped.
