a customer walked in front of her car and she slammed on the brakes as i was moving up to make room for a truck behind me then CRUNCH. There was NO damage to her car because it was an old bonnevile. Im gonna have to pay it myself cuz i can't go through insurance
Of the damage I've seen i need the bumper is scuffed a bit. I drove home with no problems. (BTW I was going to pay the car off this month which is 6 months early but today sucked)

that's what mine looked like. It was an easy fix.
That black radiator bar thing is real cheap.
Here's the one I got..

Once you remove your bent black one, the metal that the prop rod is attached to moves and can be bent straight real easy.
I am sure you can find a headlight yourself...along with the hood.
Overall this real could have been worse...;good luck.

Thanks Zx2uner!
Yeah jayupark, that is what i was thinking when i got home "awwww, im not spending $250 on a OEM unpainted hood."
Well it was under 10mph because I was going slower than the parkinglot speedlimit, and it was an oldskool bonne w/ the silver bumber.

Im just really glad there are no mechanical problems that i see, all apperance minus the twist in the body.

Will the part of the body that is twisted <right above the missing headlight> be able to be fixed though or is that irevercible frame damage or what? cuz its at a slant in person you can't see it that well in the photo unless you compare it to the driver side. and how much is this gonna cost estimated?
like I said...it's easy to bend back once the radiator support it taken off. You'll be surprised. It moves quite easy. Once you replace the radiator support...don
t tighten up the bolts that mount it to each of the headlight shroud frame pieces. Line everything up, then tighten.

I had a friend with almost exactly the same damage, frame and hood twisted that same way She also rear ended someone. Granted her car is an 04 honda...but she drove with everything smooshed together like that for almost a year without it causing any more damage. she was worried about her radiator and such...but wasnt an issue. I think you would be ok to drive it like that for the short term. hope that was helpfull, and glad everyone was ok.

from that first picture, the radiator looks like it has a bend in it..
is that leaking?
id say if its not leaking, you would be able to get away with driving it for a little while, as long as you dont plan on doing any hardcore driving with it (roadtrips racing etc)
At least it is all repairable and no-one got hurt - that is of course the main thing :)

i didn't see a bend in the radiator when i checked and it isn't leaking at all its just kinda offset, i think because of the radiator support being bent. It is sitting at an angle and not at a bent angle from what i see up close.

Damn Dave, that sucks. Looks like the suggestions given so far are pretty good and you should be able to take care of it pretty easy. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me only left side at around 15mph, and they hit me head on. I drove it home afterward and every day after with no problems, replaced a few things, and I'm still sportin' some dents and bends, but they'll be fixed in due time. But I never had any engine problems, running problems, or electrical with a small wreck like that, you should be fine. Here's how mine looked:

now I remember... I had the same damage to my civic si as munky did (a bit worse, because my power steering reservoir got crushed)... I pulled out the frame part myself with a gorilla bar. Give it a shot... I don't think you have to worry about damaging it (because it's already damaged).

......
That really blows man. You have a beautiful car. A little off topic, but this one kid in my class is sharing your pain. He works as a valet parker, and wrecked a Jag into a cement pole, causing the hood to dent, the fender to dent, but NOT the chrome to scratch. AND the airbags went off.
But serioiusly, sorry to hear this man.

ok my radiator looks like its bent from the view above it. the top left corner is kinda pushed back but the other parts of the radiator are fine. It isn't leaking though so should I have the replace the radiator or is it ok?

I don't know what the parts on the radiator are but the bent part is just the front not the whole assembly or the fans.

My radiator and core support were both pushed back about an inch, inch and a half, I just took a 20 foot iron pole and pulled it back into place, and everything works fine for now. Not the safest route, but a good temporary fix.
And did you say 680 for a hood? Who's raping you with those prices?

i think i can pull it out but im so tired now from using a crowbar, screwdriver and a hammer to pry it back to shape. I think i'll try again after finals this week if not the shop should be able to get it. And the $680-$700 shipped is for a carbon fiber hood, im gonna see if I can talk the distributer down $20-$40

Oh, carbon fiber..that makes a lot more sense.
