I use Mobil1 5W/30(winter), 10W/30(summer) for my 03xd.

For Honduras, any API SH/ ILSAC GF-2 or newer rated oil (SM/GF-4 is most current), xw-30 or xw-40 will be fine.

Full Synthetic oil is recommended. Weight is up to your enviroment.

Thanks all for your reply, recently a mechanic guy recommended me to use the 20w/50, so I rather to ask here instead since I'm a neewie.
Wheather here in Honduras is usually warm about 30-35 celsius.

20w/50 would be a bad idea, way too thick for our engines even in warm environments!

Amsoil, Royal Purple, or Mobil 10w30 for your climate.

I second that, a good known brand 10w/30 is what is recomended.

I've been running 5 w 50 Syntec in my Y2K since about 6K miles. It has over 137K now...
