Anyone got those side kit from 5door Elantra?

I'm looking for a side kit from 5door elantra. In Korea, 5door elantra( Avante XD) come with side kit and I'm just wondering anyone have it? I tried to order from Korea but they can't ship it due to the size and shiping cost.... Anyone know where I can get them in US? :confused:

Last I knew the OEM side skirts were never available in the U.S. for the same reasons you already mentioned. Too bad, there's a lot of people who would have purchased them.

Off topic, SC, did your car come with the spoiler, or did you order it? If so how much did it cost you? I like the OEM look, and you and I have the same car (same color even) and I am sure you know as well as I do that downforce on the back is a GOOD thing. Been meaning to ask for a while.

Those are clean. Someone needs to take a trip to Korea, and a camera. Take lots of pictures, and come home and make them. They could make some money. I think this is a challange for carbonman or beeman.

They got back to me...they'd be about $250 shipped to your door. Plus they come in a dark grey and need to be painted. :(

I know $250 is a lot but this is a rough estimate as well.
To install these side skirts, you will also need KDM 5door XD mud flaps (front and rear). Complete set (both left and right) side skirts and mud flaps (front left/right, rear left/right) will cost about $150 here in Korea.

Now, shipping will cost at least $500-$700 (I know this is crazy)+ shipping inside of U.S or Canada will be another $50 each set? (someone help me the shipping fee here in U.S and Canada.. Note this is large products)
So our estimated price was $150+700/20=$35+$50 = $235-$250 roughly.
Plus you will have to have them painted.

Here's a deal tho.
If we can have 50 people, we can have them painted cheaper here in Korea and pay less on shipping. However, it will still cost you guys around $250 shipped but painted... At least we could save some $ on shipping and painting.

are these only for use on the 5 door? Or were they intended for the 5 door but able to be converted to fit the 4? I'm a bit confused on this. Also...does $250 mean total cost with shipping to your door? Thanks in advance

is there anyway to modify the mudflaps...so they look like they are part of the skirt and dont hang down???

This is OEM Elantra XD 5 door hatch Korean model side skirts, and these will fit only with XD 5 door hatch mudflaps on 4 or 5 door U.S version Elantras.

I think those mudflips are optional... If you want, you can put it on but if you don't then you don't have to... not sure..

there should be no difference at all on the mudflaps...the fenders are all the same, only the rears are different....and you dont need to replace those.
