hey guys i got a 03 elantra gt n was wondering y that made it with only one exhaust, it sucks. so i was wondering if its worth putting dual exhaust or just fixing the one. n also can u guys give me an idea on what type of mufflers?

They made it with one exhaust to keep it quiet most people how buy cars buy a quiet one and yes it is restrictive.

Yes it is worth while getting an aftermarket exhaust it is all depending on what you prefer. There was a recent thread by blackcasper who has dual exhaust on his car. There's a right way and a wrong way to do it. Some people say 2.25" piping from the cat till the Y-split from there go 2". I think. That method would give you some gains.

Mufflers is another variability on preference again alot of xder's like dynomax, magnaflow, flowmaster, etc.
