Well, let's see, there's my 05 Elantra and the wife's 03 Taurus:
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/Doohickie/Picture052.jpg
I just realized I don't have any good pics of the Taurus by itself. It's just your basic Taurus, though. Here is a pic of my Elantra right after I got the windows tinted in October:
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/Doohickie/Tint01After.jpg
And then my older son's 1999 Cutlass. He bought it the day before Thanksgiving; it's the first car he's owned:
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/Doohickie/Cutlass004.jpg
And our old 95 Escort he had been driving. He totaled it once and banged it up a second time (note the front right corner; that's where both hits were). Our younger son will soon be driving it:
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/Doohickie/Picture040.jpg
And just for yucks, here's a picture of the car (not the exact car, but the same kind) I traded in to buy the Elantra. A 1995 Ford Aspire:
http://images.automotive.com/reviews/images/aspcar.gif
It was a great car for me for almost 120,000 miles. I heard recently that it's still running great a year after I sold it.

Yep, Zastava is a Yugo Fiat... They are sold under Zastava here, this was something like a car for the masses during the (now former) Yugoslavia.

The 2002 Elantra GLS, and a 2004 Santa Fe GLS. SF is OEM, except for black step-bars, a trailer hitch & wiring - So I can pull my '94 Sea Doo SP. Besides my Jetski, my other 'summer ride' is a 2003 Specialized Sequoia Sport. Both of those can be seen here (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h11/hyunelan2/IMG_2126.jpg), but for some reason I don't have any pictures of my Santa Fe on hand.

My wifes vehicle is a 87 g20 full size chevy van with a FI 350 and a 700r tranny. Needs a little tune up but I swear it will do a 1/4 quicker than my elantra, not to bad considering it weighs +8200lbs, that thing strait gets it. of course it gets about 10mpg too. I cant beleive I dont have any pics of it though, it is clean, strait and plush inside.

It's still a work in progress & home made. Haven't covered the wood boxes so it might not look glamorous. Husband wants more power but I think it's too loud. I guess he won't be happy until he is breaking windows. Tomorrow I will get some pics & sound.

I need to get some new pictures of it sometime. It's been lowered and it has a front lip spoiler so it looks more like a track car now and doesn't have the ground clearance to take on sweet jumps anymore.

I drive my wife's 2004 Vibe sometimes. I like the seats and seating position. It also has pretty good acceleration and handling for a stock car. Thanks Toyota.
hyunelan2
12-10-2006, 09:10 PM
It's wierd that you found the Vibe to have decent accel, because the Toyota Matrix I drove was slow as piss. Did they put a different engine in the version that wears Pontiac clothes?
SuperGLS
12-10-2006, 09:24 PM
No. By "pretty good" acceleration I mean "it's about as slow as my Elantra."

12-10-2006, 09:28 PM
You can get either the Vibe and Matrix with 1.8L's worth 130 or 170 hp.

i get to drive a few cars strangely - tho they are work cars mostly
at work, we have a 1998 (i think thats the year.. i know mid to late 90's) Holden Rodeo 1ton Ute - which i regularly drive over its rated limit... welding equipment and wire is HEAVY ****!
its got a 3.6Izuzu motor in it (i think lol) with a 5speed and comercial clutch
we also have 2 2006 Ford Courier Utes - in the Club Cab
4L V6 (from the Mazda Bravo version) with 3speed overdriven auto.
i get to drive the holden ute the most - coz i use it on my daily deliveries
i get to drive the parents 06 Tuscon City occasionally 2L auto
does the forklift at work count too?
in that case a SMALL 1.3t "clark" forklift :D
(i much prefer the 1.8t Toyota i originally learnt to fork on - it went faster and had more power too!)
yeah thats about it.. pics.. they aint that special to deserve pics, just google them if ya bored!
:P
edit - here is a pic of the work ute i drive on my deliveries... and yes, that engine drive does weigh in over the rated 1ton mark of the ute... makes it fun to go around corners...
i realised i had the pic on my phone, so i decided to upload it hehe

I forgot my work trucks. If there's a heavy snow, I drive one about 17 different versions of these:
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h11/hyunelan2/plow2.jpg
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h11/hyunelan2/plow1.jpg
My normal work-truck is a 1992 Jeep Cherokee (4wd, 4.0L). It is due to be replaced next year. Only has 46,000 original miles on it!
i cruize my dads s10 alot, i had it a summer ago b4 i had my car, it was my 1st stick and i fell in love with manuals after that heh
i also rock my moms sante fe here and there, i really like the ride and its loaded out and some of those features im jealous of in my elantra heh.. hers is a few years old now so it still has that huge curve in the hood on either side and i think that actually blocks the drivers vision a little, but once you get used to it its all good..
nothing i drive will be as awesome as my 85 Cadillac el Dorado Biarritz though (elantra is close!).. too bad i blew the transmission cause i just got my license and i was a stupid with it :P Man it had the moon roof, air ride, all the options, all dark blue leather, it was awesome, cost about 900 had it until the tranny went and i sold it for 1000 !! the leather was in such good shape i sold it to a collector who wanted the interior REAL bad hehe
not that its a current vehicle but heres a pic (this is an old shot, before some of the rust was cleaned up n all, but it was still an awesome ride)
