Hello,
Made a new design for my vacuum hubs I had been making, mainly based off suggestions from other people I have talked with.

Here is the webpage for them: http://www.jattus.com/Performance/vacuum.htm

Anyways, Individually hand made out of 6061 Aluminum, and TIG welded. Has six usable 1/8 NPT ( Pipe Thread ) ports, plus one port that is used for the source (so 7 threaded ports total). You can use it for any vacuum source such as Blow Off Valve, Fuel Pressure Regulator/FMU, MAP Sensor, Boost Gauge, Electronic Boost Controller, Pressure Sensitive Switch, etc. Much cleaner of a setup and more reliable than "T"ing off lines.

I also have powdercoated fittings available, here are some pics:

Had to sell them for a little more than my previous ones as they take a LOT longer to make, and cost more to make as well, but are really nice looking compared to competitors vacuum hubs.

Also, I was originally worried that the powdercoated fittings wouldn't be able to take the abuse of wrenching them down to the hub, taking them off, etc. But I have installed, removed, installed, etc. the same powdercoated fittings into different hubs and the surface is still perfect, not even marred or anything, so the coating holds up very well!

But yeah let me know what you guys think!

looks good and powdercoating is VERY durable...thats why i went that route on my old wheels instead of painting them.

Thanks!

SuperGLS, the purpose of these hubs is that instead of T'ing off a vacuum line a bunch of times, you install one of these then plug in as many vacuum readings as you like. Much more reliable, organized, and nicer looking.

I have not powdercoated any of the actual hubs yet but I was thinking about it (so far the colors I can do are glossy black, chrome, and anodized red). So I was thinking about either powdercoating a hub glossy black, then have red fittings, OR, do a hub red, and then do chrome fittings.

i think black hub + chrome fittings would look sleek and almost OEM.

I agree. If I were to get one of these if I ever needed it I'd like an OEM look one. Of course, many people like to dress the engine up when they have something special under the hood.

I will deffinetly powder coat one of them black then w/ chrome fittings, and add an option to have the actual hub powdercoated a color...

Matt, can i suggest something.

I developped a problem with your hub kit. The hub itself is PERFECT, except that with time your fuel line you supplied got really soft and started pinching itself under vacuum. I have since replaced it with a SS braided line.

Yeah my hose collapsed a little as well. I'll have to double check but I believe I replaced mine with the same hose just a smaller diameter

That is good to know thanks! I was always a little worried about that (it never happened with me) but the auto parts store assured me it was cool. I have a different type of vacuum line supplied with this one at least...

The main reason why I had it that large diameter was so it pluged directly into the intake manifold port, It could deffinetly be a smaller diameter and just tap out of an existing one for sure

Bah Like I said I just changed it to an SS line of the same diameter, no more collapsing (cost me 8$)

Dont mind the ghetto mounting location, will change this winter.

I say powdercoat the hub black and have red nipples. That would kick rear

lol.....I cut a small slit into the tubing to just get the tip onto the nipple on the intake manifold and then wedged the **** out of it until it was on nice and tight :D
