So i asked this question before but didnt get much of a response. Could any of you guys that work around a dealer find a part number for the complete engine wire harness if i give you my vin number....i called my dealer and they gave me some lousy catalog number....and no parts sites on the face of the planet have this part....so my only option would be to spend 1200 on a brand new one, get the part# and return it, so i can buy the 200$ one from the salvage guys...well i dont have 1200 lying around

i need this due to knicks and cuts from another accidents along with my crappy splicing skills that have damaged the harness..resulting in a bunch of cels..

and my car literally...no joke gets 13 mpg in the city...no joke...when i floor it, there is a cloud of unburnt hydrocarbons all over..i might as well have bough the gto i wanted and "save" on gas, lol

you will be a saint if you can help me...in fact i will worship you....well maybe not that far

It is so much nicer nowadays. . . . I remember when I had to tell people to get me the old tag number to be sure. Before the new catalogs and VIN lookups getting the right part was half luck and half skill.

What do you need the entire wire harness for?

well i have a huge gash in it from my wreck..and i had to splice wires back together, and my 1st o2 sensor signal wire is ripped up beyond repair..so i spliced wires into that to temporarliy make it work....and also i did a bad job splicing the a/f ratio guage in..so with the combo of all that it is just beyond repair, because aparently the ecu is sensative enough to run poorly if the wires arent 100% emaculate. so i figured with a complete harness overhaul it would fix it.

I don"t know if i'm gonna be able to find something with your vin in my MICROCAT system, but i can try it out. The reason i tell you that is because here in Canada, we have some minor difference with American model and sometime i can't get the info at all.

Anyway, you know how to reach me if you need my help!

Take care! ;)
