01_elantra_dw if you don't want to be flamed, start by reading the post about turbo on this board and other board, if you don't know where to start it means that you shouldn't even think about putting a turbo in you car!!!

What did you mean by stock? The engine? If that so, you can start buying parts separately (intercooler kit, manifold, bov, turbo, etc) but only if you have tools and have enough knowledge or free help you to do so or will spend as much if not more than buying a complete turbo kit like Alpine's or KDMstuff.com. You can also search for intercooler kits at jattusperformance.

The stock engine will hold plenty of abuse (with a good air fuel mix of course) BUT FOR THE SAKE OF IT, do not run it at more than 8PSI (nicely tunned) it will hold up to 12 but will not last long for the daily basis.

I'm running mine at 6PSI with 290cc injectors, a stage 4 clutch kit, external wastegate and a OBX manifold and this set-up works wonders.

It start loading at 2500 to 2800 rpm and inmediatly strat turning my 18 toyos in smoke. No ping no knocking on the engine also.
