Hey on the Blue Elantra, how did you get the aftermarket intake cone to stay on the stock hose?..Also is it just "hanging" or is it held up by a braket...Also do you feel a difference with it?

i drive the black one (with the TV in the glovebox) i guess i will have to answer that for him , well we just took off the stock airbox top and put a cone filter in the stock pipe and tighten the clamp, there is no bracket, i dont know what type of mufflers we got but they have a 4" tip on them. and also you feel a differance with just the air filter.

mine was 370 his was around 300, we both got it done in the same place at the same time, his was cheaper cause he swaped out mufflers the one he had was too short

also the ticking went away after the install, im happy about that :)

it's a 92-95 civic/del sol one and the one they sell at auto zone will work too, no matter which one you get you still need to cut off about 4-5 in. on the end to make it fit unless you reloate the batt.

yeah that sould help, but your stock setup is still slowing you down, just get a civic s.r.i. or a c.a.i.. if you want to feel a differance, i felt it with my sri and extension to foglight hole

Where in Florida are you guys. I noticed that one of your tags said Okaloosa, I'm at UWF right now and hadn't seen anyone on the boards who was anywhere around here.

I'm from Miami but it's not where I'm at now. Actually bought my car in Miami cause my grandfather wanted to hassle the people at the dealership over the price. (Then again he paid for the car so I don't mind... and he actually got the price lowered)
