Anyone know how to remove the rear view mirror on an 04? Most cars have a set screw but not this one. I can't find anyhting on the hmaservice.com site about it. :confused:

Is this thing glued on? My ol 92 eagle summits rearview was just glued in place :( I don't know though my man. Anybody done this before?
Ps why are you removing your rearview mirror?

if you punch it it will pop off....... dont ask.
There is a bracket that is glued to the windshield, the mirror slides toward the front of the car and pops off, that is about all i know

Basically the mirror slides off the mount which is glued to the windshield. Basically gently pull down and push forward and it should slide off the mount. Just becareful you don't pull too hard and don't smash your windshield.

(see, just like if you punched it.... with alot less force and less chance of breaking things)

(but more phun than if you did it the phunner way and broke things cause then the phunner way would be the less phun way and doing it the less phunner way would have been the phunner way!)

i honestly think that was based on bad words, and typing them a different way to get around filters..... not respelling the word fun

if you are doing a homelink mirror and need any info let me know, I did mine a long time ago and have been really lazy and haven't written up a DIY yet.
