Quick question about CAI. Thinking of getting this AEM 2003 Tiburon I4 intake
http://www.aempower.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=379
Was wondering if this would fit and if the only thing I had to do is cut a piece out for the MAF and that is it? Thanks.

In their profile they have a 2005 Elantra GT but not 100% if thats what they're searching for. I think so though

sorry, it's for a 2005 elantra gt. If it doesn't fit I guess I could always sell it to a tib owner.

The thing with a CAI is you can take a hacksaw to it without any real ill effects. For a tib cai on an elantra try the search button i've read about them here and IIRC they work fine you just attach the cai after the maf sensor so you end up with a little extra pipe but thats about it.

same engine...this has been done tons of times before... just follow the install directions... and you wont have a problem

V6 tib intakes fit 4 cyl XD2s, cuz it will accomodate the MAF. Perfect for an 05.

ya that means no cutting and you get a larger diameter piping for ur intake which from what i have personally tested works better...and when i say tested i do not mean dyno just to clear things up.
