Anybody in AZ want to trade their stock springs for my Eibach's, only one year old? It would be ideal if you had the tools and the know-how because I'm not doing or paying anything. They will be yours plus the labor to swap them. If not, installation may be too $$$ for you and shipping outside AZ may also be too $$$. Let me know asap!

what part of the clutch? isnt it a wear item? and yes earnhardt's service section sucks alot. my dad bought a 2000 something neon and had alot of problems getting some initial problems fixed/corrected. the ppl in the service center are dumb. also my cousin got an xd from there and he always has trouble w/ them.

I will be testing out the Avondale Hyundai service department tomorrow w/ my wife's 02 SF. Only 38k mi and completely stock. Engine light comes on for about a week, goes out for about a week, been doing that for about 2 months. I'm tired of that so scheduled an appt tomorrow morn for them to look at it. They said if it's maintenance related I will have to pay the $89 diagnostic fee :rolleyes: . If not it will be covered under warranty. It for sure as hell better be covered :mad:

Part on back order (O2 Sensor), but covered under warranty. So far good experience with them.

yeah my o2 secsor went out in my 2005 elantra at 11k...

I guess there are 4 O2 sensors on the SF. 2 were bad and replaced for free. Friendly complimentary shuttle servce. Free loaners for jobs that take longer than a day. Great bunch of guys at Avondale.

Pavillions (sp) in scotsdale is where they usally meet I think. I'm PROBABLY going this week, I just started doing the rest of my interior and oh man it's gonna take forever! I took out the headliner ALL of the ugly *** grey trim and my rear door panels. Huge project ahead of me took me about 1.5 hrs to get it all out and such.

Alucardabyss, I saw a car show east of Superstition Springs Mall awhile back. Near Power Rd and that light just north of US60, but before Southern Ave. There's a Target, Circut City and Kmart on the southeast corner. They usually gather near the Wendys, lots of old cars. Not sure if its a regular thing, but I believe I saw them on a Sunday around noon.

F-N CRAZY!!! I am actually thinking about selling my car! I never thought I'd say it but yeah I'm thinking about selling my car and getting a street bike.
Man I feel like such a dumbass for puting all that money into this car (like $5000ish!).
I think I'm either going to do that or maybe teach the wife how to drive standard and give it to her (minus the body kit, vented CF hood and $1000 A/V setup and some other stuff).
I could sell some of the aftermarket parts I put on it or I could keep the parts for when she's proven that she can drive it without crunching a bumper by pulling to far forward or I could selll the car with the aftermarket and stock parts.
I think I could get the most back by selling it and then selling the aftermarket parts on this site but I'm not sure maybe someone will look at it and see how good it looks with the body kit etc. on and actually pay something decent.

I just had my car towed to Sidework Performance yesterday. They should call today and tell me the estimated time. The dealer report said my TOB poped out of the disc :eek: Probably gonna have to drive down there today to drop off the cluch kit and such. Just called the place, he said that also the pin inside the master cylinder bent in half O_o

Holey crap I know what you mean! I'm actually starting to become one of those people that parks way out in butt **** egypt just to avoid door dings. And let me tell you it sucks parking way out there here in AZ when it's so F-N hot and you have to walk across the scorching hot blacktop with all the heat rising up blasting in your face like a hair dryer on hot.

Also I have some 18V cordless drills made by workforce (name brand sold at Home Depot not some cheap, non-name brand crap). Ya you had a lot of problems with your lantra didn't you! I am still debating on if I want to do it or not. I will either do that or get a bike. What is your opinion on what I should do?

Me, I'm getting an 1991 MR2 Turbo. But I think you should get a bike. Cause IMO turboing a Hyundai is not worth the money. But that's just me. I need something I can corner with better I don't really care about a str8 line 1/4 mile. =D But that's me, and you can do as you will and I'll be supportive =P

AZWildfire had one, if not the first on this site, turbo Elantra. He doesn't come around anymore.

I plan on going nitrous, for me turbo just isn't worth the investment right now. There are a few speed shops in town that'll probably install the kit for you. Check out www.intensepower.com. They're in Gilbert and I believe they'll install the kit and they offer dyno tuning as well.

I'd say stick with the Elantra, great family car. Bikes suck in the AZ heat, plus you know how these AZ drivers are.

I will still keep the lantra but it was turbo it or get a bike. I was talking to my girl last night and the lantra is going to be too small. We have a 7 year old and another one that is 18 mo. Both are going to be well over 6 foot so we might just trade in the lantra for a V6 Sonata because I really like them. Than I still have my caddi and I will get me a used bike than get my girl a used 4 door truck. Good looking on the info about where to get a turbo installed.

it has only been used once in a chevy. it plugs into the cigarette lighter and tell you your hp. tourqe 1/8, 1/4/ mile 60, 80, and 330ft times and your rpms i thought i would putr this up in here before i tried in the marketplace. sunday it will be going to the parket place.

I've been pretty busy working on my car although it isn't repainted yet, had to spend the cash we had saved for the paint job/bodywork on the downpayment for my wife's new car a 2000 Civic

I just installed new H&R's and wheels/tires and I need new brakes so I'll soon be upgrading to front and rear discs. I really need to put up a list of mods done so far as I've got quite a few.

yea the pavs was good last sat. there was some nice good cars there. two labos. one murcielago (sp?) and one gallardo :) they were sweeeet. dont know if u were there when they were revving cuz there was a crowd. the gallardo sounded so sik. then a ricer civic drove by and revved... everyone laughed at it. the murcielago sounded stock. the domestics took up almost all the show space so all the imports were in the regular parking scattered about by home depot (not that there was anything great).

Nice Rover, I was thinking about getting one of those big SUVs of Toyota's that are two-toned called something like a TJ Cruiser or something but Gas prices made me think otherwise. Also I only have one kid and no need to hold anything more than my Elantra does already.

Its pretty much stock now but i just bought a CAI on ebay so will be puttin that in a couple weeks! (if i can figure it out!) other than that...ive got 2 12's in the trunk & limo tint. good to know there are some AZ EXD out there. O if anybody wants a K&N filter ill be gettin rid of mine when i put in the CAI, used for less than a month & didnt realize a new intake means different filter. but o well. PEACE OUT!!!
