Ok So I went out to my car thinking I will go ahead and get this nitrous kit installed or at least mostly installed. I dont have the a/f gauge I want yet and I still need to install that dang ol transmission cooler. But anyway I was looking at my trunk and couldn't decide which side to install it on or if I should just mount it sideways behind the 60/40 split on the back seat.
So where do you guys have your bottle mounted or did you have your bottle mounted?
This is on an 03 gls and I was thinking the side with the exhaust might be too hot but the other side seemed like I would hit or would be close to hitting my gas tank. Any info is very apperciated
Thanks
Marcus

i mounted mine on the floor behind my drivers seat and ran the nitrous line on the same side (under the car zip tied to the brake lines). works great when you "need" to turn on the bottle. :)

But if I mount it in the back of the drivers seat i'll need to drill another hole for the pesky blow down tube wont i? hmm dont get me started i'll end up with a swiss cheese car :D

yup, thats what i did. and now that i dont have my kit installed anymore, you cant really see where i had the holes. from the underside, i filled the hole up with some 3m windshield weatherstrip adhesive.

^^ that sounds like a plan to me and when you get the bottle opener just move it to the trunk then ;)
