After the fact, I'm realizing there were some PIOs I probably wanted. Specifically, I'm kicking around picking up the mud guards and the sunroof air deflector.

I can get these relatively cheaply online, or I can go through the dealer. My concern is the install. Has anyone installed either of these options before? I'm fine with clip-on stuff, but I'm not going to be drilling my new car anytime soon.

I'm not sure about the '07s, but on the former model the mudguards required no drilling. You took out existing screws/bolts that were already in the wheel well, then put the mudflap in place, then put the screws/bolts back on. Take a look at your car behind the wheels and see if there's a few removable fasteners there. If you want to compare, go drive by the dealer and take a peek at a car with the mudflaps installed to see how they attach.

the sunroof deflector doesnt screw "into" the car either, it clamps on underneath the roof through the opening and gets tightened down with screws that just tighten the clamp. if i remember correctly. very easy to install eitherway though.

Sounds like you got it made geoelectric at least no drilling required. Having confused mud guards and splash guards I can tell you mud guards are under 30$US from the dealer splash guard on the other hand was like 57each. I own a 2003 Elantra GLS so YMMV

They make 2 different things? I have the hard plastic guards. They came with the car but were a "dealer added option." 2002 GLS.

The splashguard is the big piece of plastic in the wheel well the mudguards are the smaller hard pieces of plastic that attach at the bottom of the splashguards. It confused the heck out of me till I saw them in person. The guy at the parts counter was like yeah those are alot different and more expensive most places dont stock them.

I see. Splashguard = black plastic part on all cars, aka inside of wheel well. (I've replaced one a couple months ago at about $57, so that's gotta be it).

For 01-06
Mudguards Front: 08460-2D010, $22.80
Mudguards Rear 4-door: 08460-2D510, $22.80

For 2007:
Mudguards Front: not listed
Mudguards Rear: 08460-2H500, $21.00

Cool, thanks for the tips, guys. Gary Rome's store wrote me back and let me know instructions are included and there's no drilling, so it must be similar for the 2007.

A quick search seems to indicate they're good folks, so I'll probably order directly from them.
