so i'm getting ready to get my turbokit done by this spring or during spring time. i was thinking of doing a sleeper turbokit with a t25, using a hidden stock eclipse intercooler. but i'm not sure if i should show the fact that i'm turbo or not show it and just smoke people and let them hear the turbo spool.
if this is confusing i'll make it easy.
show a fmic or have a hidden intercooler?
opinions???
my vote is hidden, i think its cool when people have no idea

With a T25 i'd say go hidden so when they do race and beat you then at least they can't say you wasted your money. A T25 would be taxed for any super gains ... T3/T4 hybrid FTW. And Def a front mount.

Sleeper look would be best IMO...
that way when you beat them, they are all like "wtf, an elantra with power!"
always remember... drag racing on the road is unsafe tho.. :P

well it kinda doesn't matter on the *DRAG STRIP* but i'd go with the sleeper look.

Depending on what year/style of elantra you have, even if you had a FMIC most likely noone would know anyways.

i say show it. and justin a t3/t4 is way more than nessecary. a t28 or gt28rs would more than suit most peoples needs. hell a 15t shows good numbers.

98 Audi Quattro A6- PIAA bulbs, K&N drop in.
Looks are decieving....
will this be for your non-listed elantra or the tiburon that says that it is soon to be boosted?

my $0.02 = (fmic) + (black power coating) FTW!!!

if you do go with the fmic route, then i would get the black powdercoat as well to make it seem like an enlarged aftermarket radiator.
that way you can point it out easily, but ricers will only be able to hear the turbo spool as their whale tail of a spoiler gets stuck on a street light as they drive under it at a whopping 99whp with enough stickers to cover an escalade.

i was planning on keeping the t25 for a while then get a big 16 or t28.

then i would go for the setup where you have to upgrade as few parts in the future as possible
