LOL, I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that......towards the end before the "Damn" it was slipping. I don't normally drive like that though (peer pressure:D ) and since after 100% break-in I have not gotten a slip until just then :cool:

lol, that's just a joke ryan, derek, and I made to each other that night

However, Derek has found a dyno very close to us for $70/3 pulls open nights and weekends. With fingers crossed, we are going this weekend.

I'm hoping for 220-230+whp on 15psi. Whatever I get though is plenty for me. The car is exactly where I want it. Minus the misc. headaches, but def. worth it

bah, How much time in advance do the dyno people need? If Jim isnt able to make it up then we could save it for the following weekend and dyno this weekend. I fear what we will find once the head is pulled and how much of a project it really will become :confused: .

Not to mention if I'm able to get a hold of all the parts in time for Saturday. This was just too late notice for me.

this is funny with APE being a auto and MOST turbo/SC with big numbers are autos on NT.com...also you need to learn how to read compressor maps Newbie before making a FOOL outta urself...ur a unboosted bit$h...

I've been thinking too that maybe my hopes are a little high. Whats the most the 13g can make? dont the wrx's make 247 to the crank on this turbo (stock) and at like 13 psi?

I don't think the number are that high. Even the STi IMO doesnt produce much more than 250 hp.

Also they have different engines.

And their piping is shorter.

Lots of factors to look at.

the STI (2005) is rated at 300/300 even. But thats a different turbo then what we're working with

where im coming from... the STi has diff turbo and bigger engine, I don't think that the WRX produces as much, maybe more like close to 200.

u are trying to compare apples and oranges ish...u cant do those comparsions...WRX comes with 227BHP...my buddy dynoed 185whp stock...and thats a 2.5L boxter engine not a 2.0l....

I asked Derek about the dyno the other day but I forgot what he said LOL (trying to remember all the replacement parts I'll need)

I plan to go to the dealership first thing tomorrow so I can at least replace some of the malfunctioning pieces such as the TPS, 02 Sensor, some spark plugs and wires. Maybe I will have enough time to replace them at Derek's before we head out.

Been done since last year, but hit a big bump in breaking in the motor. something shorted out from the ecu to the coils.
