SPARTANELANTRA, I did a search in the archive and couldn't find anything but maybe you'll have better luck. I do know that the stock 15" alloy wheels weigh about 18 - 19 pounds according to a bathroom scale.

What difference would it make? If you're serious enough about racing and every ounce of weight matters to you, then you wouldn't have stock steelies on to begin with.

hey all you negative A$$es all i wanted to know was how much they weighed not a running commentary on how bad my english was or how not serious i was about drag racing
you know maybe i was typing a little fast and got mixed up youve all done it and i am dedicated to this sight i check my posts every, day cruise through the board reply to the topics i see as interesting.

I was talking respect, not dedication.....

Anyhoo, I'd call a Hyundai dealer, tell them you want to but a stock steelie and that you want it shipped to you. Ask him how much it weighs so you can estimate shipping- I'm sure they can tell you.

Then hang up.

Most steel rims are around the 25lbs mark, with no tires.
