Hey, I have an XD2 that is lowered (H&R's) with a Magnaflow dual tip exhaust. I was wondering if anyone here knew if I can put on a trailer hitch with no problems?

I don't need a big trailer (probably the sport trailer U-Haul has).
I'm moving from the Bronx to Atlanta. It's a long haul for a uhaul.

It shouldn't be a problem, might have to get an adapter to get the ball up high enough. But if trucks with a 24 inch lift can drop the ball 18 inchs I am sure someone makes an adapter to raise a ball. It wouldn't seem to matter where the support was mounted as long as it didn't bottom out thru driveways/speedbumps with the trailer attached. Might not be cheap though. (or rent a small truck for $19.95 a day)

Cool, thanks!

Does anyone know if a UHaul trailer hitch will clear an exhaust that sticks out from under the bumper? (It's tucked in, but still...)

On my XD it did need the exhaust moved over (custom catback). If it is a stock exhausr, it will work. Only thing is the hitch ball would need a higher riser than the one that comes with it.

rent a uhaul truck to haul your stuff in and rent their trailer to haul the elantra on then you wont have to worry bout the trailer hitch, simple as that!
