If you guys didn't already know, speed-factor.com released a new equal length turbo manifold today. He mentions that it's for a Beta engine, but would it also bolt up to the Beta II?

Yes it will.

it seems as if there is no clearance between the dipstick and the turbo exhaust side. Will there be enough clearance to make a 2.5" downpipe as you say on the site? Also, will this manifold have an external wastegate port? Or will this manifold mainly be for internal wastegated turbos? I'm more interested in internal wastegate anyways, but just wonder for the options.

Yeah, looks as though the dipstick will have to be modified to fit the needs of the manifold.....Looks like pretty good work on the manifold...

No the 2.5 DP fits in there with no modding.
And to add it before it is asked you do not lose the power steering.

This is external only, if you look at the one bolted to the motor you will see the hole for the wastegate flange. I'm working on a equal length for the internal.

Wouldn't it be just the same except for the cut-out for the wastegate flange?

No with the adatper for the internal wastegate it extends the turbo over another 2- 2 1/2". Like I said I'm working on a design now to keep the internal.
The first one will more and likely be on Jaws021's car since we are going internal with his new setup, but if your interested let me know.

I'm interested in an internal setup as well. For me, it's cheaper and more easier to work with.
