Removing Stock Alarm

Does anyone know how to remove the original alarm system? I want to get maybe a viper system. I want to have the keyless entry still.

You don't remove the stock alarm system. It is an integral part of the locking system and also controls several other functions including operation of the engine itself (since immobilizing the car is part of its function when the alarm is set). If you mess with the ETACS, your car won't run, plain & simple.

Also...the stock alarm is pretty good in itself..there's really no need to change it.

You dont have to remove it you just by pass it. Thats what I did when I installed my new alarm/remote start.
