sorry Xd but I have an RX now

Yup bout the fastest choice I have ever made.

I have been looking for a project car just in case I lose my license have something to mess around with. Well my friend called me and told me bout a car that one of his friends was selling for like $250.

Go look at it today and to my surprise its a 2nd gen RX with only 55,XXX miles on it yes you read right 55,XXX. I'm going this Saturday to pick it up needs some work on it but hey its not like I am going to come across this everyday so I decided to jump on it hope I can make it into a beast wish me luck.

OK, so my good friend George builds his own motors, and he has a 2nd gen RX-7. He also builds the motors for a local race team, and they run 2nd gen RX-7's. Great cars, love 'em turbod, as George's is. I think he used to post here, I know he atleast has a user id. Maybe I can hook you two up with each others e-mail's so you can talk. Let me know. lol its ok I get it alot but most the time its from two "rice burners" that I work with :( but my Xd is faster than both of them which makes me smile :)

The real reason I got it was I need something that I can run the 1/4 in beat it up and not having to worry bout a ride to work and when I saw it it just screamed GET ME

here goes a local guy w/ a 2g RX-7 that ran 11.75 @ 131....best of the day for him was 11.18 @ 132.8mph

and that was done with a 392 (i believe) chevy motor dropped in, stock rx-7 rear end, no boost, no juice, no slicks (used DR's)

my friend has a n/a rx7, and a boosted one. his turbo is still stock motor and turbo, but bolt ons. last i knew he was a high 13 sec car with just the basic's. definitly not bad for a few hundred in mods.

rip the motor out, street port a turbo one, drop in the turbo one and upgrade and tune and have fun :)
