Well, for the WORLD's highest horsepower, you'll need to learn to read Korean, and go look what they've done overseas. I highly doubt there's many (if any) people here in North America that can hold a candle to what they've done over there.

I'm starting to work on a drag race turbo kit for the elantra. waiting on the machine shop to call me back on finishing the exhaust flange for me. I gotta call some of my friends at JE and crower and hopefully they can give me some good news. then next call my good friend Joe Wruck and see what he can do some more head work for me. I'm loving the design of this manifold hopefully we can get it right the first time while welding it together.

Tim currently holds the record in the America's for the highest horsepower Elantra with a BetaI motor. He was at 450ishwhp before he blew the motor. Also, this was a 1.8l BetaI with low compresion pistons only. Goodluck to you though.

Only if I had the actual numbers. Either way, TSmooth8403's setup will most likely be a benchmark for North America at the very least.

i agree, in america, tim is gonna be it. we have a few higher HP beta tiburons though.

tims times and HP is 11.90@120 1/4mile, 96 Hyundai Elantra Wagon with 407whp/334ft lbs @ 22psi.

his website he runs can be found here

http://www.turboelements.com/

unless you want to include the even older mitsu powered elantra's. since there motor isnt technically a swap. theres a few of those hitting over 500HP
