Gotta know how many people saw this and now feel stupider for watching it. This is a show where you get money for every question you can answer from a 1st to a 5th grade level. You also get help from a little kid if you need it. The woman on there did'nt know which of the 2 countries bordering the US bordered it for a longer distance. She picked Mexico! People that watch the weather channel and never went to school could have answered that! All I want to know is how I can get on this show and come home w/ an easy 1,000,000 bucks!

This was playing at Quaker Steak and Lube when I went by there tonight. I'm disgusted by the fact that people are being given the opportunity to win big money by competing in a game designed to show that they are smarter than a grade thats not even halfway through the school system. WTF. And Here I thought Game shows and reality TV couldn't sink much lower...

I'll admit it. I didn't know a couple of those. Who was the first president to be impeached? Hell if I know. And I thought Polar Bears ate Penguins. Oh well, that's why I'm not on there.
I like the show though.

I'm smart enough to know that "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" would be the correct use of grammar. :D

I got frusterated with the show after 7 minutes had passed and they were on their second commercial break, with only answering one question.
Jeff Foxwothy was trying to be too much like Howie Mandel from "Deal or no Deal" and that annoyed the piss out of me. I went upstairs and played on the internet, but could still hear the show downstairs.
I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

I was watching with my family. My wife didn't want to try to answer and my 1st grade daughter and 3 year old son wouldn't know any of the answers so it was just me and my 4th grade daughter who were trying. I got every one correct except the first president to be impeached; my daughter got about half correct. It's an OK show but I doubt it will catch on like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and "Deal Or No Deal".

I second that. TV has sunk to an all time low.

I have not turned on a TV in over two weeks. I Don't really miss it. When I do watch TV, it's generally along the lines of HGTV, Discovery, Hallmark, American Movie Channel, or the History Channel. I'm at the point in life where I would prefer to learn something from my time spent watching television rather than having mindless programming occupy my leisure time.
Of course there is occasion when I'm not in the mood to think and TV is a great pastime, in that case. Or internet porn.

I love this show...it is fun to watch supposedly smart people act very dumb on television. I am proud of the fact that I did not miss a single question over the past 2 nights and plan on watching this until Fox cancels it. Jeff Foxworthy is a great host for this show and I hope it has a great run.

There's only one thing I watch on tv.
And that's the three F's of adult swim.
Futurama, Family Guy, and Frisky Dingo.

The local morning radio show was re-asking some of the questions for prizes this morning (here in Montreal). People are just as dumb north of the 49th... couldn't get the REM or even the border question. They had this DUMB lady on the phone... She said "REM, that's the band, right? With Michael Stripe (sic)"... The host was trying to give hints for the border question: "It begins with a C..... the greatest country in the world... The country you're in right now..." ... "uhhh, gee I really don't know, Mexico??" IDIOT!
