EXD announces Google Member Map

I saw this and figured we needed something cool like this.

Put your marker where you live and add some text and a picture if you want. I would suggest not putting it on your exact address in case any of our crazy EXD members want to come to your house and take a pee on your front door. Seriously, just think about it.

I have my marker set on right where it says "Centreville" and not at my address. It's close enough, people will be able to see where you live without knowing which house is yours.

Have fun!

As always, if you find or experience a problem just post it here and I'll see about figuring it out.

Apparently the first time it loads it might take a minute. Sucessful loads shouldn't be a problem. Of course, I'm talking about people on real internet, not dialup crap.

extremeaudio... I edited your marker so that it's on Perth when you zoom in.

Tip for everyone, try to place your marker when you are pretty close. It might look at little odd when you are totally zoomed out but it'll look at lot better zoomed in.

There are whole states with no EXD members, that's kind of crazy. Of course, 74 people out of the active 800 isn't such a high percentage. I'll send an email out to everyone on the site to see how many markers we can get.

Interestingly enough, I read if too many markers are placed that it has had some problems on other sites, we'll see.

old people just love em! i see an average of 5ish elantras each day to work.. and its only 10-15 min. And if you count the parked ones and the other elantras that park on cmu campus, its more like 8-10.
but most of them are pure stock, the few that are slightly modded i put noted on their windshields tellin to join lol

anyway, back on topic -i know theres more pgh and ohio people then we have markers for.. lets get on the ball peeps

You guys are suppose to put up some type of picture to go with it.

Go to "Your Entry" then put the URL/address of your picture in the box that says "URL of the image for the marker."

Then you can see it if you hover over someones name and click Image.

Well, I've always lived in Centreville, I just put Fairfax because more people recognize that than Centreville.
