the camera i have is rather crappy so this is the best i can do for now. i might post better pics later. took the total of 6-7 hours. made the rings from acrylic rods purchased on ebay, heated them in the oven bent around a beer glass and etched with a dremel and drilled some holes inside the rod to house super white LEDs. can't see them well during the day time but it looks rather good at night. i think that they turned out rather well considering this was my first time making 'em. whatcha think?

not very notciable. i have stock bulbs in and the yellow shade def dominates the super white of the LEDs. i didn't take the pic with the lows on

i like having just 2. plus low beams are on a lot and you can't see the eyes well when there's a light behind them. also lazyness may have had something to do with it and i didn't have enough LEDs leftover to do 2 more rings

it's more time consuming than anything to make them... and i don't have any exrta LEDs leftover. but i guess everything (or at least most things) can be obtained for the right price :)

those look real good. You should throw up some step by step instructions on how to do it on http://www.elantragtclub.com/. I'd try if I have some more info...

Looks nice. And, you could always do the DIY write up here on EXD also.

i didn't take any pictuers during the process so no DIY with pics :( and as far as write up goes it's all already there. just gotta combine this (http://students.washington.edu/ashis/Creating%20Custom%20Angel%20Eyes.htm) with this (http://www.compactdivisions.com/projects/diy/light_diy.html). the only things arent' covered in those two is securing the rings on. i drilled two holes in the grey piece inside the light one to run the wires (on top) and one to get the ziptie through to fasten the ring. the wires run to corner markers.

EDIT a regular beer glass is a perfect thing to use to bend the rods around. just make sure you don't do it all the way at the top or the rings will come up just slightly bigger than needed. this is of course for the inner rings. the outter ones would have to be bigger

How wide is that beer glass? Is it the same width as the other site you sent? or are the dimentions different?

Just in case some of you guys were unaware, Blacktibz (www.haloz.biz) makes them specifically for our cars. The price is good too. Take a look.
