I read this on another forum I visit (about aquarium fish) and thought it was weird enough of an occurrence to post here.

you should always lock your car even if you are just running in for one item at local pet store (petsmart). Not because someone will break into your car and steal something....NOOOOO... (I think I would have preferred that!) but because you could possibly come out to find a cage with a furrry hairy monster cat in your backseat with 50lbs of cat litter.

What in the hell was someone thinking? If they couldn't find a home for it, what makes them think I can?? This cat hates every other animal in my house.....why the hell did they drop it at a pet store parking lot?

I mean if I'm shopping at a pet store, I ALREADY HAVE A PET!!

This stupid cat is not "cute". No special markings or anything. It's got so much hair I can't tell if it's male or female. It's huge. When the THING sits it's head comes up over my knee. The only redeeming quality about this cat is that it's declawed in the front, which leads me to suspect it's also spayed or neutered.

Lesson learned......don't make my mistake! LOL

(anyone want a cute fuzzy adorable little kitty? LOL)

-----------------------------------

see the 10gal fish tank behind it? see how tall this cat sits!!

but wait, it's so much smaller when it's laying down!!!! NOT!

edit: don't get me wrong, I like cats, I have a cat..... but this more like a small lion!

the flash reflection on the eyes has a great effect on making it That much scarier

one I want to know is why did he let it out of the cage, if it escapes it might eat babies!

I don't know about them, but around here PetCos are all in plazas with other stores. Is it possible the person took their cat into PetCo, bought litter then came back and put the stuff in that car thinking it was theirs and then ran into another store? I mean, you can take your pets into PetCos, and they may have taken that one in for grooming or something.

It's a great idea, though. I'm going to start carying random things (broken TVs, traffic cones, children I don't like) I want to ditch in my trunk and look for unlocked cars to put them in. Then video tape the peeps coming back to their cars. That would be awesome!

ive heard of stealing pets.. but just dropping one in an un-locked car... wtf? this is hilarious and rediculous. Of all the reasons to lock a car, i would NOT have thought of this one!
