Hello, my name is James. I am new to the forum, and this is my first post.
I drive a 2005 Elantra GT, which I purchaised in September of 06. Before that, I had a 99 Jetta GLS. It was a very fun car, but it gave me too many problems.
I am just starting to mod my Elantra. It is far from where I want it to be, but here is what I have so far.
Tinted windows - 38% - SC doesn't let you get too dark.
Mussa Front Strut bar
Ark catback exhaust - I saw a forum on here 2 days after I ordered it and I really got excited.
Weapon-R Secret Weapon short ram intake - I don't think it was ment for my car. I had to put an extra pipe in there so it would fit. I think I am going to switch to a CAI.
I am still working on the audio system. My subs are having issues.
Here are some pictures of the car. If you have any suggestions or comments, I'd love to hear em. Thanks!

does the MAF function ok that close to the TB? I was thought that it had to be a certain distance from it. Are there any related CELs? Does it run smooth? Pass smog? Well I guess the smog thing would only REALLY matter here in cali!

ohh i've alway like gt sedans but that intake pointing at the engine is sucking up hot air, I think it would be best to have the set up like this excellent diagram below which was made on a laptop with no mouse.

Following the red circle put that end of the piping to the throttlebody to where the arrow points

if possible put the MAF, green circle, to where the green arrow points, there's a thread on here somewhere the says the maf should be as close to stock position

thirdly the blue circled piping, you might need to measure chop and fit it to the end of the MAF (if you followed directions above) to have the whole thing positioned how the black arrow is pointing

I think that would be the best position for an sri
