 I ordered a new shifter for my auto which is kind of hard to find. Order was placed on february 28. By March 6 or 7 i was wondering where the product was. Called AAS and was informed that the item wouldn't ship until the 12th. Would an email to that affect have been nice?? I got over it and called back on the 13th. I was assured that the order had been shipped and that i would be notified by phone when the system generated a tracking number. no Phone call ever. Called back this morning (3/20) and asked again for the tracking number.
"That item is out of stock and we don't know when it will ship sir. Our policy is to inform the customer that some products require up to 40 days to ship out."
I was told on the 13th that the item had shipped. When i called this morning, the rep kept saying "what was his name... who did you speak to about that... you should have gotten his name". Yeah like i have a file of every customer service rep I've ever spoken to. When i call sprint customer care i always get the name because that's the way you have to be when dealing with any kind of service provider. I assumed that when dealing with a medium sized retailer over a shift lever, i could expect honesty during every interaction... silly me.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo...andy's auto sport. I cancelled the order. WTB: better shift lever than stock for my automatic.
