F***********k carbon wrap

I thought that it would look cool if i wraped my dash inserts in carbon fiber. But iam having trouble with keeping the air bubbles, creases and lines out of it. It is the biggest pain in the ***. After having part of it done it looks like sh*t and i am f**king pissed off. I think i am just going to rip all that sh*t off and say F**K IT! Screw it iam tearing that sh*t off now! How can puting a big sticker on be so hard?

Use a hair drier, and a lot of pulling force.

Take your time and spray water on the dash peices. Not like, soaking wet, but enough that theres droplets. It'll let you line up the wrap and then when you press it down, press gently but firmly to force out the water.

Then use a creditcard, or something other thats flat WITH NO SHARP EDGES and use that to press out any air bubbles. Push them towards the end GENTLY. If you press to hard you'll rip the wrap.

the problem seems to be all the strange angles and curves making the wrap get all F**Ked. I think i am just going to see if i can find a pre made one.

I am going to try one more section with what you guys have suggested hopefuly it turn out right.

Yea, the angles and curves do make it a tad difficult. Take your time, it will take you a LONG time to do all of it. But if you go slow and easy, it should lay easy and stretch how you want it to.

If it keeps creasing on the angles and curves, take an exacto blade and cut down the middle, and fold it onto itself.

Wont be 100% clean but should look a LITTLE better
