Like everyone knows I was suppose to sell my car but got out of doing it:D .Since I was going to sell it I took out everything:( and now im going to reinstall everything and dont want to run that spare batt in the trunk so you think this well do the trick and them some, and yes im going to put a optama under the hood befor anyone says anything.I just want some feedback if any one has used this or knows anything about lanzar rep.

Here is the site http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18219

not a bad price either.I just looked at my kenwood amp for my subs 3 25 amp fuses and my pioneer amp has 2 25 amp fuses. That cap would be more then enough for everything and no dimming would be caused right.

Lanzar stuff is sketchy from what I have heard...

I'd stay away from it...

When I lived back in Cali my buddy had some 12's from them and they sounded pretty good.I dont recall the model but they never fell apart the 3 years he had them.Who makes a good cap and a decent price.I would get one for now more the like 100 and maybe 150 bucks.

If your going to go the cap way, I would probably spend a couple extra $$$ and get something like this.

sorry, but a cap is a storage area, as long as it stores the accurate amount, i could care less who makes it. I had a pyramid 30$ cap that was 1f and it worked just as well as any other brand.
As for that perticular cap its a great price for what you get, and it looks cool as hell! someone on one of the old audio forums i posted to back i nthe day had one and loved it.
I was actually going to get that exact cap but ended up gettin a power acoustic instead.. they were about the same price on millionbuy.com when i bought mine, but that was like almost a year ago..

some caps can dish out the power quicker then others.. but unless your doing competing or whatever i htink youll be fine either way.
i push 1200-1400 rms out of my amp (it advertizes 1400 but ratings prove it closer to 1200, but its boss, so what did you expect :)) and my pyramid cap did just fine. Course my power acoustic did better, but thats casue the pyramid was 1f and the PA was 5f

ugzz does your pa cap turn it self on and off when the car is turn off.I'm not having any problems starting the car but I was woundering. The 3 farad cap I have now from PA is nice.I have no dimming at all with this cap compared to my old one.The blue light looks good at night my hole backseat lights up when the seat is down.

no, its always on.. but the neon bars go randomly on and off so they dont drain too much. longest ive let my car sit is 4 days and i had 0 issues firing it right up.
but yeah, the cap is always charges, the digital display and neons periodically light up and go out at an intervals, but it doenst seem to be enough drain to have an effect. i should probobly note that i do have an optima yellow top also. so im not sure if it would be different with the stock batt. i only had the stock batt in for maybe a week with the system..

thats just your opinion .Caps do help I had dimming and everything else when I first put my stuff in like 2 years ago.Since I reinstalled everything with the 3 farad cap I have no dimming and voltage stays at 13.5-14.5. Compared to droping to 12 like it did.
