Wow. That would make Lexus sad if they could effectively (and cheaply) sell that technology in their cars. Interesting to see that Hyundai chose the Getz/Click to show it off.

LMAO...awesome!!!
As to Hyundai taking ideas from Lexus, from much of the information I have read on the past few vehicle launches (Azera, Santa Fe, Veracruz)
Lexus has been benchmarked in some way shape or form.
For Azera it was cabin noise and chassis rigidity, for Santa Fe it was cabin noise and interior volume, and for Veracruz...there are too many to mention.
Anyhow...glad to see they are setting their sights high!

what they don't show you is that it takes a few moments to set up until the car can do it.
In the mean time I'll be parked before I get honked at....

The second video (takes a long time to load) shows off the in car setup of it.
Quote from the Hyundai News site about the PAS:
Hyundai also unveiled for the very first time a demonstration of its new Parking Assist System which will be introduced on a forthcoming vehicle in the very near future.
I wonder what "very near future" means.

I wish they'd make cars that just park in a head-on space like in a parking lot. Seriously some people can't stay within the lines, idiots. How about a car that changes its own oil? Seriously, just push a button, the oil drains into a container and you can pour the new oil in. No more paying/doing oil changes on your back. Or a car that rotates its own tires, though that would be trickier.

All good ideas though. Hyundai, are you listening? Haha.
