This sucks i finally get my car into the cotm and what happens john posts his car incorrectly so automatic DQ as far as he goes which leaves me...just one car....that means no cotm this month....i dont get it with all the clean elantras ive seen on this forum nobody ever thinks their car is good enough...

I've run in the past, but not in the last couple of years. I always lost to cars with bodykits. If I can get my car back into what i consider "worthy" this summer, maybe I'd run again.

if you look at the history, some months have people winning with very little mods.
its all about cleaning it up and making it nice etc imo
i have few mods but i may try and run this summer at some point..

Although not specifically defined, and I would argue on your behalf that you would be allowed to compete so there could be a COTM this month (but this is not my area of "moderatorship"), I think most voters will want to know what your interior/dash/gauges/headunit area looks like, as that is a big part of the car. That would matter more to me than an amp in the trunk.

well i messaged super about it and will wait for his reply....i agree that the dash is important but that is also one part of ym car i do not like as of right now and therefore did not take any pics of it...i am by far very proud of my stereo...even though my set up is not finished yet...so i opted to take a picture of that instead.

thats what i'm talking about.I like those rims and the car will look so much better once your sturts and springs are installed but the car looks good.PM me and let me know how your cooling the tranny fluid.I need to change the fluid in mine and I was thinking about trying to cool the fluid down and get that installed the same time.Does you tranny shift better?Does the fluid last longer?

the tranny cooler is from a 94 Sonata, I installed it a week ago, so in one week I really didn't saw a difference. I'm going to have my AT flushed tomorrow.

I was waiting to install the cooler because I couldn't think of a place to bolt it, and when I decided to install it I found out that 2 of the supports were "bolt-on" to the center bar in front of the rad (the bar that have the hood clamp), I'll take some pictures of that tomorrow, it's ridiculously easy to install!!! (well the Sonata cooler at least!)

Got it for 15CAN$ in a junkyard, it was dirty but after I cleaned it, it look like new! :D

Hey, I am not trying to be a d***. I just wanted to say that the reason i voted for moster was that it was a manual trans. I think all the cars on COTM are sweet but I just prefer standard transmisions. Driving a manual is just more exciting than an auto. Beside if your that sensitive about your transmision why didn't you buy a manual?
