I Hate Joe Morgan!

I just have to vent. Watching the Sox - Yanks game on ESPN, and Joe Morgan is just bugging the **** out of me! He is an arrogant POS. I think it's because he hates the Red Sox, but at any rate, he's so f-ing annoying. I hate national broadcasts, FOX especially. GRRRR!

That's ok, the tickets are cheap and you never have to worry about a sell out, which means you can walk up to the box office and buy the tickets right there and avoid the Ticketmaster charges.

"Real Football", or as us americans like to call it soccer, is probably the best sport to watch besides american football. I'm not talking about MLS either. Watch the EPL and you'll no what I'm talking about, there's no play-offs. Every game matters...

to me baseball is a sport that you play, and not one that you watch... kinda like golf and tennis.

not only that, but baseball is a pure self-esteem booster. case-in-point:
1. the ball is 5 ft out of the strike zone so the batter doesn't swing. the first thing that everyone on that team says, "good eye" the hell do you mean good eye? the ball was 5 ****ing feet away i wouldnt swing at that if my life depended on it!

2. the pitcher throws a fastball that goes just below the batter's swing. the first thing the teammates say, "nice cut!" well no **** it was a nice cut but the ball didnt go anywhere did it?

there are more examples that just dont pertain to batting, but im at work so i automatically dont want to list them all, and just want to sleep

I tried, but I just can't get excited about a sport that can end in a 0-0 tie. I do like that there are no real stops in play, or TV timeouts, or commercial breaks, but there's just not enough scoring to keep me interested in soccer.

Not that all baseball games are high scoring, but every pitch has the potential of putting a run on the board.

the texas rangers suck....because...I dont know, I havent watched one of their games in the last 5 years.

they also have tons of advertisements trying to get people to come to watch their games, lol.

but the ticket prices are like 1/3 the price of a cowboy's (american football) ticket...so I guess thats good if you like baseball...

I'd have to say that the dallas cowboys are the only sport I'll watch on TV...If they're not the ones playing, then I couldnt give a rats arse.

Joe Morgan does suck. You must listen to some sports talk radio (number one sports talk show ratings in the country I think) They ride Joe Morgan's lame commentary pretty bad. If you listen carefully, he says incredibly stupid things as well as contradicting almost every play action call he makes. Remy is the best baseball announcer out there.


BTW, I used to HATE watching sports period. Started listening to sports talk radio because of my boss and now I am hooked. Once you really learn the players and the rules of the game, i'ts like judging the clubs business moves
