well this has been long awaited....i figured i would just go ahead and do it! now that i actually have a camera of my own!

1. Jack your car up
2. put jack stands under each corner of the car
3. take off your wheels...the fun now begins!
4. loosen these.....the pic is obviously the finished product...but they are the same

5. take the these bolts out and undo these screws....i have the speed sensor circled because on the stock strut its screwed on...you will need to tie down the speed sensor when installing the new coilovers

....on the rear the disassembly will also mean that you have to pull this clip, for the brake line, off instead of unbolting it like the fronts

6. go back up top and take the nuts off....then pull out the ENTIRE assembly as one...these are the rear.....

7. then replace with the Teins(side note....the left and right front coilovers have to be switched so the brake lines can bolt back on)

8. tighten everything down....remember DO NOT USE air tools!! the strut is hollow and air tools are not recommended....i used a breaker bar to tighten everything down.
9. once everything is tight....put your wheels back on....lower the car....tighten the lugs on the wheels.....
10. then tighten up this large nut on the top of the strut...it wont tighten up all the way....its okay....

11. the coilovers come on the hardest setting ....adjust as needed...my set up is REAR- 2 clicks from the hardest FRONT- 4 clicks from the hardest....its a little rough at times...but its worth it!!! you can go softer if you want....DO NOT GO PAST 16 CLICKS!!

and there ya go!! now go drive!!! you will love them and you will know where your money went!

How big is the hole in the bracket of the speed sensor wire bracket (the sensor actually is located on the backing plate of the brake rotor). It may be possible to open up the hole and mount it on the bolt that supports the strut to the hub assembly.

I had thought about that when installing my Quest/Mookeh coilovers and I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I just didn't do it because a brooken wheel stud made the project longer than anticipated and was ready to call it quits with a 5sec zip tie install.

When you say that the front left and front right have to be switched, do you mean that you use the left for the right and the right for the left?

No no no you use the right for the left and then the left for the right. ;)

I know it's a dumb *** question, but I'm not very mechanical and didn't know if the 2 pieces were interchangable since it needs to be bolted in.

Otherwise the install seems pretty easy, something that even I could do as long as I have the proper tools. Thanks for the nice write up only1db. I can't wait to save enough money to get the coilovers :)

It really isn't that complicated, I had never done any suspension work on a car before I installed my coilovers and it deff wasn't something you need experience to do right.
