so i installed my wolo dual set horn.. i love the tones on each horn, but man they are NOT loud at all! barely louder then the stock one really!! Pretty disapointed here  .

Anyone else have them and have opinions about them, + or -?
also anyone have any recommends on something that sounds good and is decently Loud!? i really like the dual setup, so ill prolly sell these and get another dual set somewhere.. so im looking for good loud duals somwhere.. hmm..

you know what i did, got 2 compressors and 4 trumpets, 2 of them are the little trumpets and the other 2 are the "big rig" trumpets..because i agree not very loud by itslef, but hell its like a damn train now

Which Wolo horns did you get? They make MANY.

Relocate them under the hood, behind the passenger headlight in the space that's there. If you have ABS, you won't be able to.

That's what I had to do. I originally had 2 sets of dual FIAMM horns, but I now only use one set and relocated it under the hood. It's way louder than when I had two. My questimation is that they are air powered, and when driving, or them being outside the car, the air seems to move away. Kind of hard to explain, but it's much more noticable in audible tones if you put it under the hood.

bah, tx for the info but i like the horns in teh stock location, i duno why but i do. im just going to find horns that can stay there, but still be loud as hell.. im sure theres something good out there!

im still 1/2 thinkin about going to a junkyard and grabbing up an old caddy tri note.. man i loved that stock horn in my 85 El Dorado.
