Well, today, some asshole broke into my car. They shattered my passenger side window, and stole a small luggage bag that had all my wallet and flight info (was heading out to Houston for the weekend.) The bag was in my freaking trunk. Nothing else was taken, but now I have to goto the MVA tomarrow, to get a new license, and wait for my new Visa card. Then I have to go to get the window replaced. which costs about $180.

unexpected expenses suck.

Ruined trips suck too! Sorry to hear it man. Suprised they didnt steal your stereo or anything

Sorry to hear about this. Any change insurance will cover the window? Hope the rest of the day goes a lot better.

HAHA jim. I didnt even bother to clean the glass out yet. It just pisses me off. Now I gotta go to stand in the purgatory line at the MVA to get a new license. But I had had to do that anyway, cause mine expired on the 9th. lol. The window is whats pissing me off.

i know with my insurance, glass has a 0 deductible.

Ill have to check again, but I dont think glass is covered.

Whats weird is that it was broken into between 10-12am. Plenty of traffic. Bright area. They stole all my quarters out of my car. No cash in my wallet. All they got was my soon-to-be expired license, cancelled visa, and my student id.

And now they have your address and stuff though too, so just be wary of them getting into the house now...

I know my friends that are goin to UAT...the one kid had his wallet stolen, and later that week, someone had tried breaking into thier apartment.

That would be weird if they did. I live nearly an hr away from campus. NTM I drive a hyundai, and there was no cash in the wallet; so I dont have money.

Sorry to hear about that. At least they didn't take your ride or your stereo or every thing in your car.
