you can get idea on how it looks.I didnt think the drop was going to look as good as it did being that it was a small drop.

oh ok, i see
what are you waiting for, winter to come back!?
hehe j/k

do you have to replace the struts when you do springs?. i know nothing about suspension..

05-18-2007, 12:23 PM
i did only because they were gone. The car had like 120k when we did everything.I replaced the struts, boots, mounts, endlinks, swaybar, and bushings.

jalmir

and that's what I'll do also, the rear suspension is making so much noise it's annoying!!

I can't wait to get enough $$$ to get new struts and all that jazz. No drop, since my car goes some places no Elantra should rightly tread (dirt roads, the moonscape Buffalo kindly terms streets, ski area parking lots, make that any road in the Buffalo area).

those eibach springs shouldn't give you any problems due to it being a mild drop.then again you guys have a **** load of snow compared to me.

jalmir
05-18-2007, 02:14 PM
lol yeah we have LOTS of snow but it's not a 3 inches drop, so it should be ok! ;)

my elantra handles better then my impala does in snow.My chevy got stuck twice pulling into my driveway compared to my elantra.

jalmir

haha actually I was lucky and never got stuck with the Elantra (well, once but that was because they plowed snow in the street I was parked in, snow was up to the mirrors :( ...)

yea it's funny how that is.

Thanks for all the comments guys.Is there anything that I could do to make it better in the engine bay.I plan on going na for right now and maybe S/C within the next year or two. What are some things to boost the na power.I know stage 2 PPIM w/spacer and BBTB would help and new cam but is there anything else.

Maybe routing the intake into the fenderwell to really draw cold air, like AEM's intake does. My intake sitting right by my radiator. Only sucks in cooler air when the car's moving.

Oh, and upgrading the stock grounds and battery terminals. I used 6-gauge copper strand and crimp-on terminals from Home Depot, and some generic terminals from Pep Boys. Lights are brighter, and the windows are a little bit peppier. I'll post up some pics.
