I guess this may be old news for everyone else, but I didn't know they gave it a face lift again as well as new exhaust tips. I don't know what they did with the tail lights, because they looked like something out of an APC catalog (I hope they were). So I don't think the tails were stock. But for the most part, I liked all the new changes, especially the new wheels. I liked the older style fender gill better though and the headlights seem a little less aggressive now. But overall, still a nice looking car.

Yeah, those taillights are OEM. Here's a picture of the Hyundai Cougar... err... I mean Tiburon taillights, from Hyundaiusa.com.

I saw my first one driving the other day as well. Actually coming back from the Allentown meet.

Ehh, I've never loved the GK, so I don't like it or dislike it. However, I do like the the GK2's better.

They should have made the GK2 have the 2.4L and 3.3L for the GT version. Oh well.

I like the general stance and body design of the exterior. I think the interior looks even more cheap than the Elantra and Accent. I sat in one the other day and I had to take my baseball cap off because the bill struck the roof and sunvisor. I'm only 6' and I would have to duck to see when a stoplight turned green. They are small, but they could be a little more accommodating for the taller crowd.

i had the exact same problem, but im 6foot-6!
hubby n i went car shopping (ie wasting time and doing some test driving, coz cant afford a new car! lol) and went and sat in a new tibby at the dealership.
sat in the thing, and had to duck - adjusted the seat to let it sit lower... still had to duck.
this is about the time i wish i was a foot shorter so i could own a tibby.
(i aint got nooooo hope in fitting into a tib with a sunroof installed, i didnt even bother TRYING to sit in that one!)

OMG ... I never realized how much it looked like a Cougar until you mentioned it. Ha! Secretaries are going to go wild over this redesign ... they loved the Cougar!

Although, I wouldn't mind a Cougar S ... those were SWEET!

That's one of the things they fixed this year. New Tibs are a little bigger inside I couldn't fit in last year's model but I seat comfortably in this one and I'm 6', 3" There might even be room for people taller than me this year, but I guess not that much room, eh?

They f'ed up the taillights. And the front reminds me of the Escort ZX2.

Not so much for the ZX2, but the tailights I have to agree. If I bought one of those I would cover the tails in the back with some kind of red vinyl for sure, lol. Make OEM look even more OEM and less tacky ;)

I don't know man, I understand what you're trying to say, but having seen more than a couple at the local dealership they look 100% different in real life, especially the way they continue into the fenders.

Yeah, I don't know, for some reason, that was just the first thing that came to my mind when I saw a picture of the front on the hyundai website.
