what did you do this with? do you have to have tinted vinal or will window tint work?

tinted vinyl works (talk to staw512) Niteshades would do the trick...but DO NOT use window tint, the film is way too thin and is meant for interior application and would not last on an exterior surface...especially when it sits in the sun all day and can peel up and whatnot...

oh ok well i dont really have to money to worry about buying it now i was just gonna use the extra window tint i had laying around. i have too much other stuff i HAVE to do first..

like soulless said talk to Scott(straw512).Thats where I got mine from.It cost me $24 shipped for vinyl for my tailights.Well get new pics here sortly since the sun is going down now.

I was thinking the same thing.Do you guys think it would look better to get a new trunk lid without spolier and do away with the 3rd brake light or just keep it and just tint the light.

Looks good man.I may get a new set of tails and do the same to mine.I nightshaded the tails on my tib and they are a little too dark.The only problem with vinyl is,it always pwns me.I have little to no patience for that stuff

i think im gonna do this w/ my XD. i always hated how the covers sat 1/8" above the top of the car

only thing i think will suck is trying to make it curve like the tail light does and make it clean. it was a ***** to do on my girls mazda3, and those are pretty mild tail lights.

Nice job!!!! Yeah the vinyl works the best. I also forgot to do my 3rd brake light when I did mine. I'll find some time this week and show you how it looks!

Oh yeah, it's a ***** alright..took Andy and I an hour to do my tails.
