Hey, I was just wondering what people are doing with they're stock 15" alloys after upgrading them. I plan to sell mine, and was wondering if others have done the same. If so, for how much and to whom? Im just wondering cause this summer I plan to get 17" unknowns with falken 512's, and want to see if I can sell mine to help pay for the new rims.

Well, I kept mine and my winter tires are on them. So all I need to do during winter is change stock and aftermarket ;)

You better keep them if you are getting a low profile set-up. Because you'll be ***-out if you bend or crack a rim (or two rims at the same time).

well, i have winter rims already so i don't need them for that. as for bend or crack, worse case scenario I would throw on winter till I get it fixed or replaced. where r u located wytchdctr? oh, just saw texas, thats prob too far i would imagine. if I was to sell them, what do you guys think i should ask for them, with and without rubber

I am picking up some Hyundai alloy wheels this Friday locally from someone. He's asking $500 US for the set which includes 4 alloy wheels covered in Kumho Ecsta ASTs, 225/50R15. The Kumhos have 5000 miles on them. Unless he has badly misrepresented what he's selling, I think that's a pretty darned good price.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect as much with the Michies on them, but then again, that's Canadian with the exchange and all.
We have a few Hyundai guys locally, so I was able to get them without shipping involved. You may want to looking into what shipping rates are to... Montreal, Toronto, etc., to see how much will run you if they have to be shipped, based on how heavy they are.

yeah, thats what i was saying, with the exchange, but either way, that will be a nice chunk of the bill if I can find someone to buy them. I can get the 17" konig unknown with falken 512's for $1200 cdn taxes included, balanced, installed, etc, so thats close to half
