i guess this will go in here since the big mod was the intake...
after not being able to get my package from UPS since i wasnt home, and the douchebag new owners of the apartments wont sign for it, i had to drive 25 min to go pick it up. everything looked good, get home, check the mail, and i find my stuff from seoulfulracing (sidemarkers and 3 way nozzles)...i was expecting it by the weekend and install it all then, but i got too excited...
intake took a couple hours, but this was with taking my time as to not **** anything up. of course, i had one of the bolts that holds the bumper on snap, so i had to take about 20 min to pull some things apart, heat the bolt, get it out, then go thru my bag-o-bolts i saved from my last XD. found one that fit, got it all together, had to cut 3-4" off the pipe, which i found out an angle grinder with a TINY *** air pump doesnt do ****. there went another 1/2 hour. after that, had to cut away about 1/4" off one side of the fender, not long at all, lined it w/ protective rubber, got intake installed. sounds so much better...hoping to notice 1-2mpg which will put me at the 30 city mark i want to hit (been doing 28 as is)
clear sidemarkers...2 minutes...nice improvement, especially on a silver car
3 way washer nozzles...tested them on the way home...so nice to be able to hit the lower windshield now.
best 61$ ive spent in a while
